This yellow rice is the perfect side dish!! It tastes amazing and is super easy to make! Has simple ingredients and will be done no time.
*Feeds 5-6 People*
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of basmati rice
- 2 cups hot water
- 2 tbs of chicken soup powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1tsp shawarma spice
- 1 cup vermicelli noodles
- 4 tbs olive oil
Directions
- In a pot add your olive oil and vermicelli noodles and mix until the noodles get brown on medium heat
- Wash your rice until the water is clear. Once the rice is clean, add it to the pot
- In a measuring cup add hot water and mix in your soup powder. Then pour into the pot over the rice.
- Once the water is added, add the turmeric, shawarma spice, and cumin and mix well.
- Let the rice come to a boil on medium heat, then reduce to low heat and let the rice simmer (don’t forget to mix the rice from time to time)
- Ready to serve! Enjoy! Don’t forget to add some love to your dish, it’ll make it taste better!
